Counselling in an holistic context is a unique form of counselling that focuses on a person in their entirety. It considers physiological and psychological disorders as parts of a greater whole, and regards the mind, body, and spirit as fundamentally interconnected.
This form of counselling aims to empower a client to discover and access their own inner wisdom and healing capacity.
It incorporates basic counselling techniques with other more in-depth pathways including relaxation, life skills, social relationships, and motivational techniques.
My role as a counsellor is to provide for my clients a relaxed environment so that they can comfortably share their concerns so that we can work together to promote their complete well-being.
